The Black Gold and Silver Snakeskin is a great pattern that has different variations of scales that mimic a snake. This is a non-directional pattern that makes it very user friendly. This pattern has a slight golden tint to give a more realistic look. Since this pattern is black and silver, hardly any basecolor with show though. Any lighter color basecoat can be used.
